MODALITIES

K-TAPE
Kinesiology tape, commonly known as K-Tape, is an elastic therapeutic tape used in various settings to support and stabilize muscles and joints without restricting movement. It helps reduce pain and inflammation, improve circulation, and enhance athletic performance by promoting natural healing and providing support during activity. K-Tape is often used for injury prevention, rehabilitation, and to alleviate pain from various musculoskeletal conditions.
CUPPING
Cupping is a therapeutic technique used for muscle adhesion where suction cups are placed on the skin to create negative pressure. This method helps to increase blood flow, reduce muscle tension, and promote healing by drawing blood to the affected area and encouraging tissue relaxation. Cupping can alleviate pain, decrease inflammation, and enhance overall mobility, making it a valuable tool for treating various musculoskeletal conditions.
IASTM GRASTON
Instrument-Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization (IASTM), including the Graston Technique, is used to treat soft tissue injuries. It involves specialized tools to apply controlled microtrauma, stimulating healing. This technique breaks down scar tissue, improves blood flow, reduces pain, and increases mobility, effectively treating conditions like tendonitis, muscle strains, and chronic pain.
E-STIM
Electrical Stimulation (E-Stim) is commonly used to relieve pain, reduce inflammation, and improve muscle function especially if there is nerve damage present. It uses electrical currents to stimulate nerves and muscles, promoting healing and strength. E-Stim is effective for managing pain, muscle spasms, joint issues, and post-surgical recovery.
JOINT MOBILIZATION
Joint Mobilization is a manual therapy technique implemented to improve joint function and reduce pain. It involves the therapist applying controlled movements to a joint to increase its range of motion, restore normal movement patterns, and alleviate stiffness. This technique is effective for treating conditions such as arthritis and joint injuries enhancing the overall mobility and function.
NORMATEC
NormaTec is a science backed modality that employs dynamic compression to enhance recovery and improve circulation. The system uses a series of inflatable sleeves to apply controlled pressure to limbs, helping to reduce swelling, alleviate pain, and accelerate the body's natural healing processes. NormaTec is effective for recovery from exercise, injury, and surgery while promoting faster rehabilitation and improved performance.
